Auralia 2
Auralia 2 is a
computer based ear training course for Macintosh.
Auralia's drill based teaching is a fun and easy way to
use your computer for ear training. Auralia leads you
through a variety of graded exercises and offers you
instant feedback. All of your results are recorded,
allowing you to keep a close eye on your progress.
Auralia now includes Sound2MIDI technology, making it the
most advanced and comprehensive ear training package
available.
Auralia offers
26 topics, divided into four subject areas. Each topic
has a system of graded levels for you to work through.
Accompanying each topic is an information screen
explaining the exercises and recognition techniques.
Auralia allows
you to create tests for either yourself or your students.
You can define the contents of a test, and assign it to a
particular group of students. On your network, Auralia
allows you to share the tests between all students, with
individual results recorded. Auralia has extensive
reporting features, including 26 built in reports. You
may also use your favourite database software to generate
your own custom reports.
Auralia
includes Sound2MIDI technology. This remarkable feature
allows you to sing intervals, chords and scales to
Auralia. Auralia will check your answer, and tell you
immediately if you were correct or incorrect. All you
need is a microphone and sound card.
