Roland CD-2e

Everything you need to record, edit, and burn is right there inside the CD-2e. No extra devices or cables to connect. No need to connect it to a computer either. Just turn it on and go. With high-performance stereo speakers, stereo microphone, and CD drive built in, the CD-2e is ready for action right out of the box.

Portability is a key advantage of the CD-2e. Weighing in at less than 1.1 kg (2 lbs 6 oz), it’s lighter than most laptop computers. It’s also slim and trim, at less than 50 mm (2 inches) thick. You can use the CD-2e anywhere since it can run off six AA batteries; for those who prefer to plug in, an AC adaptor is supplied. *To enable recording to and playback from CD-R/RW media, use of the supplied AC adaptor is required.

The CD-2e is a great tool for music students, as it allows you to hear and analyze your performances with clean, clear detail. There are several playback modes available, including the ability to change the pitch and tempo of playback. A metronome function is provided as well.

Extra features are built into the CD-2e to make it even more valuable to musicians, including an instrument tuner that works in conjunction with the built-in stereo mic. A wireless remote controller is also provided for off-unit control of playback and recording.

Two valuable options are available for the CD-2e. The CB-CD2E is a semi-hard-shell protective carrying case that provides mesh pockets for CDs, SD cards, batteries, and documents. A cushioned divider is also provided to separate the CD-2e from the AC adaptor. The CS-15R is an external stereo microphone specially designed for the CD-2e. It comes with cabling, desktop stand, hand-held mount, and windscreen, and travel pouch.
