  • Binary Designs presented a range of Music Technology sessions throughout the day at the ShareIT! 2007 conference at Ferny Grove High School on Thursday 16th August. (details).

  • The Sibelius 5 Official Launch was held in Brisbane on 2nd August at the QUT Gardens Point Theatre foyer. Over 60 people attended the launch and thoroughly enjoyed the dynamic presentation by James Humberstone and Katie Wardrobe from Sibelius. Click here to see upcoming tour dates.

  • Len has just returned from Song Trails - Binary Designs was a proud supporter of this journey of discovery through Queensland regional centres as part of the Queensland Music Festival 2007 (click here for more). The final concert on Sunday 29th July had the audience spellbound.

  • The Sibelius Student Composer Awards have been finalised. The awards finalists concert was held at the Sydney Conservatorium on 28th July. Click here for details.

  • The biennial Music Conference 2007 was held from 7th to 11th July in Maryborough. Binary Designs once again provided all the Music Technology training sessions for the conference and also had a trade stand in the Brolga Theatre foyer. Click here for details.

  • There was a great turnout for Fantasie in the Gardens, a free concert featuring the Australian Army Band at Brisbane's Mt Coot-Tha Botanical Gardens on Sunday 18th May. Everyone enjoyed the variety of fantasy music including selections from 'Harry Potter', 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Star Wars' with actors in full character costume. Binary Designs were proud to be joint sponsors of this event presented at the Queensland Cultural Centre at Southbank. The team from Binary Designs assisted with rehearsals by providing a full midi-based score of the work for the actors and production crew.
