'Loop 2 the Max' Competition

If you're into loop-based composing, then this competition is for you! We're looking for the best song created using Sony's Super Duper Music Looper ® (SDML) or Acid ® software. The competition has 2 sections:

1. for 13 years and under (as at 1st Jan 2005, using SDML)
2. for 14-18 years (as at 1st Jan 2005, using Acid Pro or Acid Music Studio)

There will also be a prize for the school or institution who submit the most entries. Entries are to be submitted as a music track on a standard audio CD and judging will be by an independent expert adjudicator from Sony Corporation.

Conditions of Entry

• Entrants must not have had their 19th Birthday before the 1st January 2005. Older entrants are ineligible.
• Entrants must provide accurate information on the entry form for the purposes of contacting winners.
• This competition is only open to Australian residents.
• Each entrant may submit only one entry
• Entrants must provide a copy of their entry on a standard Audio CD, which can be played on a normal CD player. Other methods of entry will not be accepted.
• Entries close 17th June 2005. Any entries received after this date will not be accepted.
• Compositions must be created using either Acid Pro ®, Acid Music Studio TM, or Super Duper Music Looper ® (products of Sony Corporation).
• Judges decisions will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into
• Results will be posted on the Binary Designs website www.binarydesigns.com.au, and elsewhere, and winners will be notified in writing
